The documentary, Fleeing (to) God, looks into the experiences of three queer religious leaders who fled to South Africa from their country of origin, Zimbabwe, due to religious-based queerphobia. In this documentary, put together by Carl Collison for Beyond the Margins, these three asylum seekers speak about the reasons for having to flee their home country, the ups and downs of their new lives in South Africa and their journeys back to the faith that once rejected them.
